Gronau is located right on the Dutch-German border, in the western Munsterland region. The city has a rich textile history and is known as the birthplace of Udo Lindenberg, with the rock'n'pop museum housed in a former textile factory. The border with Enschede is barely noticeable here: crossing back and forth takes only minutes.

How to find us
Directions from Gronau
Gronau lies directly south-east of Enschede, on the German side of the border. The route runs via the border crossing at Glanerbrug into the city, then on to Twekkelerveld on the north-west side.

From Gronau, drive towards the border and Glanerbrug via the main road, which becomes Gronausestraat on the Dutch side.

Follow Gronausestraat through Glanerbrug towards Enschede city centre and take the ring road to the north-west side.

Head towards Twekkelerveld, near the Albert Heijn and Lidl shopping centre. Park there and walk to the Trekpleister pharmacy. We are in the small street next to it, beside Die Grenze.
By public transport or bike: By train, travel from Gronau to Enschede Central Station; from there take the bus towards Twekkelerveld or the University of Twente.
Parking: Free parking in front of the Twekkelerveld shopping centre, right next to the salon entrance.
